I was born on 07/03/1971, in Fort Worth, Texas (United States).
As I grew up, my parents were never without their German Rollei camera, documenting all of the important (and not so important) moments of our lives. Call it a sort of family photojournalism, if you will. Perhaps this was what spurred me to begin learning the art of black and white photography and darkroom development at the age of 14. This hobby and obsession has stuck with me all of my life.
I now shoot with a Nikon D200 most days. As a pocket camera, to document those unexpected moments, I still carry a Canon PowerShot S60 as well. These tools accompany me wherever I travel, allowing me to capture memories of places and people that I visit, and document the changes I witness in my friends, my family, myself, and my world.
